Note: This standard has been updated with a fiberglass crossarm but the drawing has yet to be updated.
Notes:
- Min. 50 ft. pole required for installation on joint pole.
- Important — if there is only one control transformer, connect the transformer to the source side! New reclosers will include two control transformers and a transfer switch inside the control panel. Contact Planning and Protection to determine if you need to order a separate transformer.
Refer to Compatible Unit BA10B. Control transformer is internally fused and does not require a cutout. - Two wedge connectors per switch are required to install line tap switches. Appropriate wedge connector size is listed in Compatible Unit D0520.
- Important — disconnect and bypass switches must be accessible to a service truck.
- Antenna may be specified separately if needed for communications. Refer to Compatible Unit J0401 and J0402 for more information.
Note: Drill holes as required to obtain switch spacing shown above.
