Notes:

  1. The reference for bare conductor dimensions is ICEA S-66-524, Table 2-7; except for 1100 kcmil, reference Okonite. All dimensional values are nominal.
  2. All cables except C0906A listed have central conductors which are stranded Class B concentric lay, 3-percent compressed. C0906A 1100 kcmil central conductor stranding is Class A compact.
  3. C0901, C0902, C0907 C0908 & C0910 are 15kV 175 mil TRXLPE insulated Underground distribution cables with full concentric neutrals; 10 - #14 Cu for C0901 & C0907 and 16 - #14 Cu for C0902, C0908 & C0910.
  4. C0903 & C0909 are 15kV 175 mil TRXLPE insulated Underground distribution cables with 1/3 concentric neutrals, i.e., 18 - #14 Cu for C0903 and C0909. C0910 purchased prior to April, 2019 had 6 - #14 Cu for each cable.
  5. C0904, C0905 & C0906 are 15kV 175 mil drain wire shielded Underground power cables. All are obsolete and listed for informational purposes and for property unit removals.
  6. C0906A is 1100 kcmil Al 15kV 175 mil EPR insulated Underground power cable with a 1/6 Cu concentric neutral, our standard for new feeder cable and maintenance/replacement of C0904, C0905 and C0906.
  7. Except where already specified for new construction, #2 Al 15kV Underground cable (C0901) is for maintenance use only. C0907, C0908 and C0909 are for maintenance use only, not for use in new construction.
  8. C0910 is 3-conductor (triplexed) 1/0 Al 15kV Underground cable. It should be used for installations where previously we would have installed 3, 1-conductor #2 or 1/0 Al 15kV Underground cables in one conduit.
