J0401 - DA Omnidirectional Antenna Installation

Notes:

  1. IMPORTANT! Extend 1" PVC conduit 24" past the top of the pole.
  2. Move center phase to crossarm to provide 2' minimum clearance between antenna bracket and phase conductor.
  3. Cable termination into control/radio box will be performed by District Communications personnel.
  4. Conduit shall be strapped to the same side of the pole as the antenna at 3' intervals.
  5. Seal coax connection with Butyl Silicone Tape self-bonding (MID 819112) and "88" tape (MID 819097).
  6. Contact Telecom if the coax length must be greater than 50'.
  7. Control/radio box shall be mounted between 13' and 16' above the ground line.
