12V116 Existing 7.2kV End-of-Arm Tap Connected to Center or Opposite Phase

Notes:

1. This Assembly Unit provides a means to tap an end-of-arm lateral from the center or opposite phase. It should be used under the direction of the Planning Department for the purpose of balancing system load.
2. Minimum 5'-0" for poles up to 45' in height. Increase spacing to 6'-0" for poles 50' and taller.
3. “T” link fuses must be ordered separately. Refer to Compatible Units E1001-E1200.
4. Down guys and anchors specified are based on #2 ACSR primary and neutral with a working tension of 1,140 lb/conductor and a maximum guy attachment height/guy lead ratio of 2:1.
5. Do not specify preformed aluminum deadend Compatible Unit’s (T010+) if the neutral is #6 or #4 solid Cu. Instead, specify flexible bail automatic deadends Compatible Unit T0508 (for #6 solid Cu) or T0509 (for #4 solid Cu).
