12V613 - Low-Power Radio Installation on Service/Guy Poles
Revision 4
Feb 7, 2019
Notes:
- The foreign utility will provide the metering equipment, aluminum bracket, power cord, fasteners, and connectors.
- Radio units require 120/240 volt service. If a service is not available, then triplex service wire must be run from an adjacent service location. Refer to Compatible Units C0300 and C0301.
- The radio unit must be bonded. If no ground is present, install a #4 bare SD solid copper bond wire (MID 848476) from the concentrator unit ground point to the system neutral.
- Contact the Joint Use department a minimum of 2 weeks before relocation of a unit in order to coordinate with the proper foreign utility representative.
- Assembly 12V613 may only be used on service and guy stub poles. See Assembly 12V613A for installation on a primary distribution pole.
