Notes:

  1. Pole must be set so that pole tops are level, while maintaining minimum pole settings depths per District standards or as noted on the construction drawing. Refer to T&D Guideline 4-5-15.0.
  2. Engineer must specify the size & number of down guys and anchors depending on conductor design tension, line angle, available down guy lead and span length. Refer to T&D Guideline 4-6 and Compatible Unit Sections A and G.
  3. Outermost structure down guys must be splayed so as to provide a minimum of 3' clearance from the innermost structure. Refer to picture below.
