Notes:
- Use a double bushing transformer only. Neutral isolator to be mounted above common neutral in a convenient location.
- An additional deadend spool must be used for service wire to eliminate contact with the primary neutral through the preformed deadend.
- Verify system ground is installed and serviceable. Install N0101 if no system ground exists.
- Install “Caution Neutrals Isolated” adhesive-backed decal on transformer tank where most visible. Decal MID 5001297.
- Remove neutral strap on secondary bushing to tank, if so equipped.
- When installing isolated ground rod N0271 maintain 6 ft separation between ground rods.
- Verify that the transformer tank is solidly bonded to the system (primary) neutral.
- Neutral Isolator box requires no case ground.
- Ground system neutral on adjacent pole for tangent construction.
- Refer to Figures 1-4 for single and three phase wiring schematics.
