Notes:

1. Hook-stick operated switches may be used in situations where installation of control rod operated switches is impractical. Potential applications may include:
   • Riser pole disconnects
   • Switch for upper circuit on a double circuit structure
   • 3Ø disconnects for industrial customers
   • Locations where a switch control handle would be difficult or hazardous to operate.
2. Hook-stick switches must be accessible to a service truck.
3. Mount switch on backside of pole (side opposite pole face) to provide clearance for switch operator.
