Notes:
- Compatible Unit Z1307 will also straight splice 1000 to 1000 kcmil drain wire shielded power cable. Refer to Compatible Unit Z1310 when splicing 750 or 1000 kcmil drain wire shielded power cable to 1100 kcmil concentric neutral power cable.
- The District's 15kV splice kit MID 777485 accommodates cable sizes in the range of 750 - 1100 kcmil compressed strand, 1100 kcmil compact strand and insulation thicknesses in the range of 175 - 220 mils.
- The District's standard UG power cable is 1100 kcmil Al. Splice kit MID 777485 contains a 1000 kcmil Al compression sleeve which accommodates 1000 compressed and 1100 compact kcmil conductors.
When splicing 750 to 750 kcmil Al add a 750 kcmil Al compression sleeve, MID 777724, to the kit. When splicing 1000 to 750 kcmil Al add a 1000 to 750 kcmil compression reducer sleeve, MID 1001479, to the kit. Return the unused 1000 kcmil Al compression sleeve to stock under MID 777732.
