1. Scope

This specification applies to District Material ID 5001570 tags as illustrated.

2. Material and Decal Requirements.

Tag shall be manufactured from rigid PVC vinyl, with a minimum thickness of 15 mils.

3. Size

Tag shall be 3" wide x 6" high.

4. Color

Two colors: Fluorescent Safety Orange. Black informational text.

5. Identification Instructions

The manufacturer's name or logo shall be clearly marked along the left bottom edge and and the date of production shall be clearly marked along the right bottom edge of each label. The District's Material ID Number shall be clearly marked along the top right edge and the District's logo shall be printed along the top left edge of each label.

6. Hole & Grommet

Each card shall have a 1/2" hole in the top center of the card, spaced 1/2" from the top edge of the card. Cards shall have a A-828 (0.495" I.D.) brass eyelet and no metal tie wire included, unless specified by the District.

7. Outdoor Durability

Each card shall withstand environmental conditions encountered in the Puget Sound area of the Pacific Northwest for a minimum of 36 months without losing its legibility.

8. Packaging

Cards shall be poly wrapped, 25 cards per bundle. Maximum weight per box/container shall be 50 lbs. Each box/carton shall be clearly labeled as to contents and quantity.
