1. Scope

This specification applies to District Material ID 5001229 warning and switch cabinet decals as illustrated.

2. Material and Decal Requirements

Refer to District Material Standard DECALMAT5.

3. Size

Decals shall be 8" high x 10" wide.

4. Color

The background color for the signal word "WARNING" shall be Transparent Safety Orange with black text. The signal symbol "!" shall be a white reversed out reflective background centered in a black triangular background. The "arc" at the end of the cable next to the hand shall be colored Transparent Safety Red.
Safety Blue (in accordance with ANSI Z535 latest revision) top rectangular field with reversed out white reflective lettering. Black informational text. Safety Green trees. Safety Red gloves and shoes. Safety Yellow hardhat and tip of hotstick.

5. Identification Instructions

Decal shall have manufacturer's name or logo and the date of production clearly marked along the bottom edge of each label. The decal's District Material ID Number 5001229 shall also be marked on the bottom edge as depicted below.
