1. Scope

This specification applies to flat-surfaced, safety information cards as illustrated. These cards shall be designed for outdoor application directly attached to an underground transformer or other objects.

2. Material and Tag Requirements

Refer to District Material Standard TAGMAT1.

3. Size

Cards shall be 5-3/4" high x 3" wide, with a tolerance of +/- 1/32".

4. Card Options

Each card shall have the following options: Hole, Size A-828 Eyelet (I.D. = 0.495").

5. Color

The face of the card shall be UV resistant Pantone 185 C Red or Sericol 141 Fire Red with white reversed out copy. The District logo and text shall be UV resistant black copy. The back of the card shall be similarly colored.

6. Packaging Instructions

Cards shall be poly wrapped, 25 cards per bundle. Maximum weight per box/container shall be 50 lbs. Each box/carton must be clearly labeled as to contents and quantity.

7. Material ID Number and Identification

This specification applies to the following District MID Number: 5000740, to be marked in the upper right hand corner of side 2 of the card with the manufacturer name or logo placed in the upper left hand corner of side 2 as shown.
