1002899.1 Caution Circuit Tie Sign

1. Scope

This specification applies to the sign illustrated below.

2. Material

Sign shall be made of 0.030" thick sub-surface printed velvet-textured non-adhesive coated 8B35 LEXAN plate.

3. Size

Sign shall be 10" wide x 10" high. Text fonts shall be scaled and similar in appearance to those shown below. Four, 1/2" diameter mounting holes shall be provided, one in each corner, as shown.

4. Color

Tag safety alert signal symbol and signal panel shall have a black UV resistant copy legend on a yellow UV resistant background as shown. Tag safety alert symbol shall have a UV resistant yellow exclamation mark in the middle of the The yellow background shall be PMS 109 ANSI YELLOW. Remainder of tag copy shall be black UV resistant copy on a white background.

5. Identification

The manufacturer’s name or logo and the date of production shall be clearly marked along the bottom left edge of each sign. The District's part number 1002899 shall be clearly marked along the bottom right edge of each sign. Markings shall be in a small legible font so as not to detract from the sign's message. Refer to the illustration on page 1 for the required locations for those markings.

6. Packaging

Signs shall be sufficiently packaged to protect them from damage and abrasion during shipping and handling.
