1. Scope

This specification applies to the flat-surfaced sign with .500" corner radius as illustrated below in Figure 1. This sign will be used outdoors on chainlink fencing and various sufaces.

2. Size

Sign shall be 10" tall x 14" wide x 0.23" thick.

3. Industry Standard Compliance

The coloring, text, and symbols shall meet the requirements of ANSI Z535, latest revision.

4. Color

The sign shall be two colors. Signal word panel shall be ANSI Z535 Safety Orange. Text copy shall be black in color.

5. Material

Signs shall be made of high impact abrasion resistant polyolefin with injection molded characters intergral with locking grids. Color additives and polyolefin material shall be UV-stabilized. Each sign shall have a 3/8" diameter hole in each corner, spaced 1/2" equally from center of hole to each edge.

6. Outdoor Durability

Thirty years minimum, with exterior exposure.

7. Chemical Resistance

Sign shall be resistant to detergents, alcohol, grease, and oils. Sign shall have variable resistance to weak solutions of alkalis and acids.
