1. Scope

This specification applies to District Material ID 1000790 equipment decals as illustrated.

2. Material and Decal Requirements

Refer to District Material Standard DECALMAT5.

3. Size

Decal shall be 3.0" wide x 4.75" high.

4. Color

The decal shall be two colors, all colors shall be UV resistant. The signal word panel shall have white reflective reversed out letters with a transparent safety red background and a transparent safety red exclamation mark. The black panel just below the red signal panel as well as all remaining text shall be black opaque. The prohibition symbol, or "NO" symbol, on the bottom right-hand portion of the decal shall be red opaque.

5. Identification Instructions

The manufacturer’s name or logo and the date of production shall be clearly marked along the bottom left edge of each decal. The District's Material ID number 1000790 shall be clearly marked along the bottom right edge of each decal. Markings shall be in a small legible font so as not to detract from the sign's message. Refer to the illustration for the required locations for these markings.
