1. Scope

This specification applies to flat-surfaced, safety information cards as illustrated below. These cards shall be designed for outdoor application in a galvanized holder or directly attached to a treated wood pole.

2. Material and Tag Requirements

Refer to District Material Standard TAGMAT1.

3. Size

Cards shall be 3-1/4” high x 6-1/2” wide, with a tolerance of +/- 1/32”.

4. Color

The face of the card shall be UV resistant Pantone Yellow C 2X with UV resistant black copy. The back of the card shall be colored UV resistant Pantone Yellow C 2X with no copy.

5. Card Options

The card shall include the following options: Hole.

6. Packaging Instructions

Cards shall be poly wrapped, 25 cards per bundle. Maximum weight per box/container shall be 50 lbs. Each box/carton shall be clearly labeled as to contents and quantity.

7. Material ID Number and Identification

This specification applies to the following District Material ID: 1000222, to be marked in the top right corner of the card, along with all other required identification, as pictured.
