1. Scope

This specification applies to flat-surfaced, safety information cards as illustrated. These cards shall be designed for outdoor application in a galvanized holder or directly attacehd to a treated wood pole.

2. Material and Tag Requirements

Refer to District Material Standard TAGMAT1.

3. Size

Cards shall be 7” high x 3-1/2” wide, with a tolerance of +/- 1/32”.

4. Color

The card shall be 2 colors. All inks shall be UV resistant for maximum protection. The card and the backside of the the card shall be Pantone 185 C Red or Sericol 141 Fire Red. The "Danger", "Do Not Operate", and "Employee at Work" text shall be white. The body of the card shall have black copy text over a white background.

5. Card Options

The card shall include the following options: Hole.

6. Packaging Instructions

Cards shall be poly wrapped, 25 cards per bundle. Maximum weight per box/container shall be 50 lbs. Each box/carton shall be clearly labeled as to contents and quantity.

7. Material ID Number and Identification

This specification applies to the following District Material ID: 1000219, to be marked in the top right corner of the card, along with all other required identification, as pictured.
