1. Scope
This material standard covers the general requirements for manufacturing and supplying all of the District's Flame-Resistant (FR) Clothing Accessories.
2. Reference Standards
Where applicable and unless otherwise stated in this specification, garments shall comply with the latest revision of District Material Standard FRCLOTHMAT.
3. FR Beanie
3.1 Material
All materials used shall meet NFPA 70E standard, latest revision. All thread used shall be FR rated.
3.2 Construction
Beanies shall be designed to be worn by themselves or beneath a hard hat.
3.3 Ratings
Beanies shall have a minimum rating of HRC-2 and an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of at least 15 cal/cm².

4. FR Bra
4.1 Material
All materials used shall meet NFPA 70E standard, latest revision. All thread used shall be FR rated.
4.2 Construction
Bras shall be designed with a stetchable, breathable, moisture wicking, antimicrobial, FR material and be constructed to reduce binding. Bras shall have tagless labeling.
4.3 Ratings
Bras shall have a minimum rating of HRC-1 and an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of at least 4.0 cal/cm².

5. FR Baselayer Short-Sleeve Shirt
5.1 Material
All materials used shall meet NFPA 70E standard, latest revision. All thread used shall be FR rated.
5.2 Construction
Base layer Short-Sleeve Shirts shall be designed with a stetchable, breathable, moisture wicking, antimicrobial, FR material and be constructed to reduce binding. Base layer Short-Sleeve Shirts shall have tagless labeling. Base layer Short-Sleeve Shirts do NOT require identification with PUD embroidered logo.
5.3 Ratings
Base layer Short-Sleeve Shirts shall have a minimum rating if HRC-1 and an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of at least 4.0 cal/cm².

6. FR Baselayer Pant
6.1 Material
All materials used shall meet NFPA 70E standard, latest revision. All thread used shall be FR rated.
6.2 Construction
Base layer Pants shall be designed with a stetchable, breathable, moisture wicking, FR material that will maximize warmth and be constructed to reduce binding. Base layer Pants shall have tagless labeling.
6.3 Ratings
Base layer Pants shall have a minimum rating of HRC-2 and an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of at least 15 cal/cm².
