- Stacking lugs are designed for stacking on top of conventional straight lugs to increase the number of cables that can be terminated on a secondary spade or bus. Use of stacking lugs may help avoid the need for installing secondary spade extensions in padmounted transformers. They should be used with discretion.
- Stacking lugs are made of tin-plated aluminum and are suitable for connecting aluminum or copper conductors to aluminum, copper or tin-plated surfaces.
- Stacking lugs have a maximum paddle width of 1-3/4" to enable them to fit side-by-side on spades with NEMA hole spacing.
