Notes:

  1. Transformers installed in customer owned buildings must be placed on vibration dampening pads to isolate the building from transformer vibration and noise.
  2. For maximum effectiveness, vibration dampening pads should be loaded to approximately 50 psi. The appropriate numbers of pads for a given transformer weight can be calculated by:

    Round N up or down to the closest even whole number.
  3. Refer to Construction Standard 4-13-2.0 for distribution transformer weights.
