Notes:
- Pole Toppers are made from cross-linked, reinforced, water and UV resistant EPDM material. They protect the top surfaces of wood utility poles from the effects of weathering caused by rain, freeze/thaw cycles and UV rays. Pole Toppers create a durable, long-lasting barrier that helps maintain the structural stability of the pole top and retain preservative.
- The District's use of Pole Toppers is for capping the tops of standing in-service wood utility poles and newly cut pole tops (where untreated wood is exposed). Pole Toppers should "not" be installed on the tops of new District utility poles.
- No fasteners are required for installing Pole Toppers.
