Notes:
- Steel ground wire protectors are designed to protect distribution and transmission pole ground wires from theft or damage. They are not intended for general use but only for installation in areas with a history of ground wire theft.
- The intent is to still use Copperweld conductor for grounds even when a steel ground wire protector is installed.
- Replacement spider drive bits are available under Mat. ID 1003764.
