J0302 - Fiber Optic Splice Box — Pole Mounted Underground to Overhead Splice

Notes:
- Maintain a 6" minimum bending radius for fiber optic cable when coiled in splice box.
- Field drill bottom rear corner of splice box for conduit fitting and 1/4" drain hole. Use 2" male adapter and 2" lock-ring if attaching rigid pipe or sweep to enclosure.
- Fiber optic splice box identification numbers will be assigned by Drafting. Install 3" white-on-black reflective identification numbers centered on the top of the cabinet door as shown. MID's of pertinent decals are listed in District Material Standard 387151.1.
