Notes:
- Silicone rubber tape is a self-fusing tape suitable for high temperature 15kV outdoor applications. It is purchased in 1” x 30 ft rolls.
- When silicone rubber tape is used to hold conductor insulating covers (Compatible Unit’s I0451 - I0453) in place the ends of the covers should be secured by applying 2 or more wraps of silicone rubber tape using minimum wrapping tension. The tape can also be used to insulate connectors and equipment terminals; 4 wraps of tape are recommended for this application.
