- The PVC conduit listed above is supplied in 20 ft sections.
- Each section of conduit has one integral deep socket belled end and one plain end. The non-belled end of the 2" and 3" Schedule 40 conduit is chamfered on the inside edge of the conduit.

Previously, DB-60 was used except for areas with rocky soil, where conditions were too severe for Type DB conduit. Schedule 40 is the minimum rated conduit for new construction.
- PVC solvent cement must be specified separately; it is issued in 1-pint cans. The following guidelines can be used to estimate cement quantities:
1 pt per 200 ft of 2" conduit
1 pt per 150 ft of 3" conduit
1 pt per 100 ft of 4" conduit
1 pt per 30 ft of 6" conduit
