Notes:

  1. The PVC conduit listed above is supplied in 20 ft sections.
  2. Each section of conduit has one integral deep socket belled end and one plain end. The nonbelled end of the 2" and 3" Schedule 40 conduit is chamfered on the inside edge of the conduit.
    Refer to District Material Standard 250027.1 for PVC chamfer requirements.

  4. Sizes 4" and 6" Schedule 40 PVC conduit are used by the District for special applications only, e.g., areas with rocky soil, where conditions are too severe for Type DB conduit.
  5. PVC solvent cement must be specified separately; it is issued in 1-pint cans. The following guidelines can be used to estimate cement quantities:
    1 pt per 200 ft of 2" conduit
    1 pt per 150 ft of 3" conduit
    1 pt per 100 ft of 4" conduit
    1 pt per 30 ft of 6" conduit
