Notes:
- A manually operated cable lubricant pump with a 10 ft discharge hose (MID 1001384) is available to facilitate application of the lubricant. The pump is designed to fit on top of a 5 gallon pail of lubricant.
- The following formula can be used to aid in estimating a recommended average amount of cable lubricant per pull. The actual amount of lubricant required will vary depending on conduit fill, conduit type and condition, number of bends in the pull and pulling environment.
Q = 0.0015 * L * D
where:
Q = Quantity of lubricant required in gallons
L = Length of pull in feet
D = Nominal I.D. of conduit in inches
