- Typical District applications for rebar are to serve as stakes to hold conduit in place to maintain its position in a trench and to help hold duct banks in place during the concrete pouring phase of construction. Rebar is typically placed at 10 ft intervals for such applications.
- Plastic mushroom style rebar caps help protect against cuts, abrasions or other minor injuries when working at grade. They are not designed to provide protection against impalement.
- The District typically uses UG marking tape only in conjunction with duct bank construction.
