Assembly Numbering Convention

Scope

This section provides an explanation of the assembly unit numbering convention.

From left to right, the assembly number is comprised of 1 to 3 prefix numbers, 1 letter, 1 number and 2 characters. The prefix number designate the voltage class of the assembly. The letter designates the construction type. The next number indicates the number of phases or assembly grouping. The last two characters designate the individual assembly unit within a grouping.
